1963 and all that

Can you imagine starting work in 1963 at the age of 19 and never working anywhere else. Well, two of our Partners, David Arkwright and Tom Profit have done just that. They are both celebrating 40 years with the firm this autumn and we will be taking all the staff out for a special dinner to mark the occasion.

The firm is, of course, unrecognisable from the 1963 version, but we are proud of our long tradition of excellent service in the town of Bolton. The firm is in very good heart with lots of new talent coming up to continue David and Tom’s work. How many of them will achieve 40 years’ continuous service is another matter!
