Samantha Cole
Head of Department

Samantha joined Cyril Morris Arkwright in 2010, after working for the Crown Prosecution Service for 11 years. She qualified as a solicitor in 2011 and became a Partner in the firm in May 2019.  Her practice now encompasses both family law and the representation of clients in criminal matters, including as a duty solicitor. Samantha is also the supervisor in the Family Department being a member of the Family Law Panel.

Samantha’s practice covers all types of family and criminal law matters. She has advised upon applications for contact and residence for a parent living outside of the United Kingdom. Represented parents where the local authority have issued proceedings. She has particular knowledge of non accidental injury cases and has also represented a client in appeal proceedings in the Supreme Court. 

Paula Frazer

Paula has over 25 years experience as a family executive and joined Cyril Morris Arkwright in 2008. She specialises in children matters, representing parents in both applications for contact and residence, and parents in local authority applications where there are allegations of neglect and abuse.

She has considerable experience in the areas of non-accidental injuries, drug/alcohol abuse, fabricated illness and sexual abuse of children. Paula has also represented parents when applications are made to remove children outside of England and Wales to countries such as Australia and the United States. She is an experienced advocate, frequently appearing in the Family Court throughout the North West.

Stacey Croft

Stacey joined Cyril Morris Arkwright in May 2021. Stacey qualified as a solicitor in November 2017 and her practice now encompasses private family law matters to include private law children, matrimonial finances, divorce and domestic abuse cases.

Stacey has advised upon applications for contact and residence in complex children matters where significant domestic abuse has been alleged. Stacey advises on all areas of private family work. She represents clients in obtaining a divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships and judicial separation. She represents parents in private law children disputes, including representation at court hearings. She advises on domestic abuse issues, including representation in Non Molestation order and Occupation order applications.

Stacey has recently undertaken her Higher Rights of Audience and will soon be a Solicitor Advocate here at CMA.
