Probate, Intestacy and the Administration of Estates

We assist Executors (where they are appointed under a Will) and Administrators (where the deceased died without leaving a Will) in the administration of a deceased’s Estate.

We establish the deceased’s assets and liabilities as at date of death. We advise on whether the Estate is likely to be subject to Inheritance Tax.

We are able to prepare the relevant application for the Grant of Representation, including drafting the relevant Tax Returns. Once the Grant of Representation has been received, we can then register the document with the relevant organisations and start to realise the assets of the Estate. Once the assets have been realised, we can settle the liabilities of the Estate before proceeding to distribute to the Beneficiaries.
